You’ll find quaint buildings full of paintings, pottery, jewelry, wood carvings, metal work, and so much more. You’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time seeing basket weavers and soap makers. The sight of this much talent is certainly impressive. You’ll be able to spend hours touring through the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community just looking at all the amazing work. 2. Sugarland Cellars Winery

Are you a wine connoisseur or just enjoy a drink or two? Another great free attraction in Gatlinburg TN is wine tasting at the Sugarland Cellars Winery. You get to choose the flavors you want to try, but there is a limited amount of tastings you can have. The winery staff is extremely well informed, being able to tell you what you want to know about their wine, and they can even suggest some great places to eat! If you end up loving one of the wines you taste, you can buy a bottle and take it over to The Peddler or the Parkside Grill to have with your meal! 3. Sugarlands Visitor Center

Do you want to learn more about the Great Smoky Mountains National Park? If you do, you need to go to the Sugarlands Visitor Center. As soon as you walk inside, you’ll find a ranger desk. Right behind the ranger desk, you’ll see a small museum dedicated to the national park. You can watch a 30-minute video about the history and plenty of details of the park. Next to the museum, there’s a retail shop where you can grab souvenirs to bring back home!

4. Great Smoky Mountain National Park

You can’t visit Gatlinburg without visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! Admission to the park is absolutely free, so you can enjoy yourself! Hiking is a popular activity in the park, and you’ll find trails with views of streams, waterfalls, and the mountain ranges. There are lots of picnic areas where you can bring a meal to enjoy with your family. You can also find plenty of roads to drive and see the beauty of the mountains if you’d rather not hike. Cades Cove is a great place to take the whole family to see history up close, as well as some wildlife!
