When you come to the Great Smoky Mountains on vacation, you’ll notice there’s a ton of places to eat in Pigeon Forge. You’re probably wondering where you should go, and that’s where we come in! We’ve made a list of 6 great places to eat in Pigeon Forge for the whole family.


1. JT Hannah’s Kitchen

If you’re wanting American eats with a Smoky Mountain theme, head to JT Hannah’s Kitchen. The restaurant is named after a famous local businessman, making the local economy flourish. You’ll find steak, chicken, and seafood dishes. For something a little more casual, grab a burger or sandwich. Before you leave, you’ll definitely want to try the Big Orange Soak cake.


2. Geno’s Pizza

Is your family hungry for pizza? Go to Geno’s Pizza where you can order classic pizzas like pepperoni or cheese or try a specialty pie like Geno’s Special. Geno’s also has salads and subs that are heated in the oven before they are served. Grab a side of breadsticks, cheese sticks or wings to go with your pizza, and save room for cinnamon or chocolate bread sticks. Everyone will love Geno’s Pizza!


3. Smokies Cuban Cafe

Does your family like to venture out and try new foods? Then you should try the delicious food at Smokies Cuban Cafe. They serve traditional Cuban food, like Cuban sandwiches, croquetas, sweet plantains, and more. You’ll find pork, chicken, and steak dishes that all sound delicious. End your meal with caramel flan or rum cake with a cup of Cuban coffee. Your family will want to come back to this cafe again!


4. Timberwood Grill

For another American restaurant, stop by Timberwood Grill at The Island in Pigeon Forge. Want to share something with the whole table? Get the Gold Nuggets, fried mac and cheese bites, or the campfire queso. There’s plenty of salads and sandwiches you can choose from as well. Get a pork chop, steak, beef brisket, or fried chicken. Adults should try a drink from the cocktails menu since they are all Smoky Mountain themed. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!


5. The Alamo

The Alamo is one of the popular places to eat in Pigeon Forge. It is named after the famous landmark due to Davy Crockett’s ties to East Tennessee. You’ll find hot crab dip and bacon-wrapped shrimp for appetizers. If you’re looking for something light, you can’t go wrong with soup and salad since there’s plenty of choices. The peppercorn NY strip steak or chili-rubbed pork chop is a great choice for dinner. If you prefer chicken, you have a ton of flavor choices, or you can always get a vegetable entree. Everyone in your family will love eating at The Alamo!


6. Huck Finn’s Catfish

Looking for a truly southern restaurant with delicious choices? Then you need to try Huck Finn’s Catfish. Start out with something different, like gator tail or corn nuggets. If you’re really hungry, get an all-you-can-eat meal of chicken, catfish, or both with endless vittles. For regular entrees, try one of Huck’s classics or something from the hook or the grill. You might even feel adventurous enough to try The Chief’s frog legs. You’ll love the country feel of the food and restaurant at Huck Finn’s.
